Excerpt from "Lainy's Naval Fleet Guide, Fifth Edition"
(Kinemato Graphe Press, Hobbs, 30xx)

Chapter 16.3

The USS MEXICAN RADIO is a Miso-class warship. Popular belief
says that its construction was a fortunate mistake involving
a stray can of Pippu Fresh and two warship blueprints, resulting
in a uniquely hybrid Maruchan/Nissin machination. Udon missile
bay performance, typically prone to electrostatic discharge,
is amazingly made glitch-free due to close proximity to the
laundry chute tubes. In return, laundry is made surprisingly
fun and fancy-free.

Of course, any mention of the USS MEXICAN RADIO would be
incomplete without bringing up the warship's pride and joy:
the BUGSTOMPERS squad. Though just one of the many mercenary
exterminator-squads aboard the RADIO's crew barracks, they
have become reknown across the galaxy for their stunning
success ratio and insatiable lust for bug-blood. Often
imitated but never duplicated, the Bugstompers have become
the harbingers of violent death for bugs everywhere.

* Other Info *

This was my first attempt at programming. A lot of it was from
pre-existing HL code and from on-line tutorials; special thanks
goes to www.thewavelength.net fine forum folk. Cobbling small
code stuff together was fun and I encourage other mappers to
try it out if they haven't done so already.

A HUGE thanks to Jeffrey "botman" Broome's sdk kit.

Many eye-candy ideas were used from www.valve-erc.com forums and
the very fine Natural Selection mod (www.natural-selection.org).

Some models and sounds were taken and edited from mods RICOCHET,
DEATHMATCH CLASSIC, GUNMAN, and COUNTER-STRIKE. Other models
were made from scratch.

Multiplayer is untested.

For the hud display I used TriAPI. It scales accordingly
with screen resolution, so a 640x480 player will see the
same hud as a 1024x768 player. I suppose it's not a
terribly big concept, but I found it a nice feature.
Sort of like vector-based graphics vs. bitmap-based graphics.
Additionally, if you wish to edit my hud sprites, they can
be saved as any size (though, I believe some older video
cards will go wonkers if you exceed a 256x256 image size).

Furthermore, by editing MYHUD.TXT, a user can make a custom
hud display. Directions are included in the file. It's fun
to fiddle around with.
